What can Reiki do for your animal? Anyone can benefit from a course of Reiki treatments, regardless of age or state of health, and beneficial changes can take place over a fairly short space of time. Below are some of the problems or areas that I and others have found Reiki to help with: - Physical Injuries - Behaviour issues - Stomach trouble - Anxiety including when visiting the vet - Nervous or timid dogs - Performance - Owner:Pet relationship/ bond - Appetite loss - Separation Anxiety Bring things into balance with Reiki Reiki Treatments Receiving Reiki is a simple process. The Reiki Practitioner will decide whether to treat your pet whilst in contact with him i.e on their lap or sitting with them, The practitioner will either lay their hands on your pets body or from a space away, depending on how the animal wishes to receive the energy. During the treatment, energy (called ‘chi’) is drawn through the practitioner into the recipient, helping to produce a state of balance. I will visit you at home for treatments so your pet can received them in the comfort of their own space. How might my animal react? The great thing about using Reiki on animals is that you can ‘see’ it working. Your pet will most likely relax, he may sit or lie down, you may hear his stomach gurgle. Some animals will lie down and go into a deep sleep next to the practitioner. Different types of animals can react in different ways, for example, some may not show as many signs of relaxation during their first treatment , however, they will often lie down to sleep after the treatment when they are alone. No matter what the reaction, Reiki is giving your pet what he/she need |
